Our Story
Ghumar is a traditional Rajasthani folk dance — a celebration of grace, colour, and the unabashed joy of movement. We chose this name with intention. Because every woman, in every silhouette, deserves to feel like she is dancing.
Born in Surat. Built for Every Curve.
Ghumar was born from years of experience in Surat — India's garment capital, the city where the finest fabrics in the country are woven, dyed, and crafted. Our founder has spent years running Kadambari, a women's ethnic wear retail store in Surat, closely understanding what women truly want when they walk in looking for something special.
What he observed, over and over again: women who were beautiful, confident, and full of life — women who deserved to feel that way in their clothes too. And yet, time and time again, the fashion industry offered them limited choices, apologetic designs, and afterthought sizing.
Ghumar exists to change that.
